Shrek

Shrek is a computer-animated media franchise created by DreamWorks Animation loosely based on William Steig's 1990 picture book of the same name. The film series debuted with Shrek in 2001 and has since been followed with several sequels and a spinoff franchise featuring the supporting character Puss in Boots.
