I'm not here to talk about the game's singleplayer content or variety. I played this game modded on a Discord server called ShrekBoards. Red RidingHood was banned. It was no items Gingerbread Man only Romeo Drive all day. I grinded my ass off trying to be the best at this game for the sake of competitors pride and wowee what a garbage competitive game it is. Every character has an infinite combo or touch-of-death. Aggression or even interaction period is completely sub-optimal. The game has a lot of neat tech but is actually mind numbingly simple at it's core.
I've met so many great people through the community including my partner and they're bonds I'll remember and hopefully keep for the rest of my life, but I do *not* fire up Shrek SuperSlam when we visit 'to relive the good old tournament-days.' I sharpened my soul on the grindstone of Shrek SuperSlam and am less of a person for it.
1/10 just play mega challenge and laugh at funny shrek.
