This game was so much fun to play from start to finish. It wasn't very long and I'd say I had anywhere from 35-40 hours of gameplay time but that was perfectly fine. Solid origin story to setup a new series on Lara Croft. Often times games try to do to much. Create vast worlds, tell increasing longer stories, overly complex controls, etc. This doesn't do any of that and while some may not like that, that's what I enjoyed about it. You never really get too frustrated throughout your time playing and you're enjoying every single minute of it. That's been lost on some of these epic games. Mundane and boring missions that often repeat but not here. You feel the action continue to build as you play.

I had a lot of mixed feelings throughout the process of playing this game. I never played the first game so this was my first introduction into the RDR series. Right off the bat you see how visually appealing the game is. It's clear from the onset of gameplay. I really took my time to get to know this game, play all the modes, side missions and hunt animals. That was until I got very bored of them and just looked to finish the story mode. This is a technical masterpiece of a game but the plot is lacking. This isn't a game you remake down the road because the story was so good but technically this really shows the best PS4 has to offer. Pros: vast world that you can interact with that's visually appealing. Cons: The overall plot (story) is kind of dull in my opinion. There was nothing about it that kept truly engaged in the story. The Guarma section in Chapter V also seemed very rushed. Much of what's presented in the game is very optional. While that might seem like a good thing, you don't really have to upgrade weapons, or spend money on much of anything. This caused me to lose interest in much of the side stuff and add-ons in the game after about a week of gameplay. The legendary animals were only so in name. There's nothing really special about them other than you can use them to make ugly looking gear. Story/Plot: 4.0 Gameplay: Graphics: 5.0

great game but the plot was somewhat dull. The campaign is rather short and at times very easy. solid open world game with some good side missions, others were dull and boring. Definitely room for improvement but solid game nonetheless. The overall was rather easy. Even the more challenging missions had built in save points so you didn't respawn at the very beginning of the game. A better story would have went a long wayhere.
