Knack 2 is... many things. Knack 2 is a good representation of improvement. Knack 2 is heartwarming, like Disneys Pixar. Knack 2 is family. With the ability to now play coop Knack 2, with two Knacks, it gives us the ability to bring ourselves together, and isn't that all what we really need from games? There are not many coop games in the world that makes you feel genuinely involved with the other played (other than Portal 2 which has high fives, hah), you are sitting on the same couch as the other person (or maybe you're using the share-your-controller feature) and you feel connected, this is why video games are so special, they allow us to connect to each other in ways that would not be normally possible. Cutting down a tree with friends is the closest comparison I was able to think of. It is a bonding team effort and you all feel closer once you're done. The problem is you don't always have to fix problems. That's where Knack comes in, Knack 2 becomes the problem for both of you (pun intented) to solve. Never once have I felt so connected to my Partner than was I when I was slamming baddies with the roundahouse punch. The part where Knack throws Knack 2 up the cliff, then Knack 2 pulls Knack up with his hand reminded me of another game that I played on the Xbox 360 called Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons (i'll review that one of these days, another great one). The graphics are astounding, Knack or Knack 2 have never looked better on the PS4 PRO displayed in stunning full HD. The fact that this game has no upscale at all is an absolute wonder and a treat to me. I sit at the optimal distance from my TV so the pixels become invisible to the naked eye (not so naked. I wear glasses) and boy is it a treat to enjoy. Upgrading from the Wii after all these years to the souped-up monster that is the PS4 PRO was an absolute favorite. How you can share your gameplay to other players and stream is also an absolute treat. I'm able to show screenshots and gameplay to my freinds across the globe while I sit here on my living room couch, never having to touch a computer. Its quite astounding really! I don't think the Coop works via the PS vita streaming option but if any of you could get to me (my comments box is always open) that would be much appreciated (I only have 1 PS Vita so if it were possible I would need to purchase another.) At one part of the game, I believed it was when I was going through a grassy knoll did I see Knack 2 in front of me whacking the baddies left and right with the pick-uppable stick. He was whammin and bammin thems left and right. Like a mafia. When I was playing Knack back when the PS4 came out it was good, but what was missing was the ability to play coop with other people. I am really glad that they added the ability in this game due to the dull combat of the original bogging down the combat. It seems to solve the oracle problem that's been plaguing the genre for such a long time just by adding Knack 2 (character not the game). So what are you waiting for, connect on to PS online and download this sucker. You won't be sorry. EDIT: I recently realized after an extended session of playing the original and tons of you flooding my inbox that my viewing of the orignial wasn't quite up to snuff. I'll be doing a review of the original. Knack now. Without Knack 2, the original isn't really all that great of an experience and that can be chalked down to just one reason: No second player. You have no ability to play with a second player in Knack and this is due to hardware limitations I think. Being on the PS4 PRO it has the ability to render a second knack at the same resolution as before (Knack + Knack 2 are actually made of much smaller Knacks put together in a magnetic field that suspends them in air. Knack 1 has most of the similar moves as to the heroes in Knack 2 but it has a very limited selection of combos. The only problem I would say is in Knack 2 compared to the-one is-lack of content. The original had a treasure trove of collectables to get that took many-an-hour to obtain, whereas in Knack 2 it's much easier to get them. I think this is down to the fact that two heads are better than one, (Or two knacks in this instance, Knack 1 and Knack 2). There were actually rumors that this game was going to be cancelled before release due to lack of consumer interest, if this had chalked to fruition I would have been a sad pupper due to another one of my favorite games' sequels, Glover 2 being cancelled. They actually cancelled that one JUST because a voice actor couldn't handle playing a character with dumb sound effects like in Banjo-Kazooie, but I think I spoke about that in my review of the game on the steampowered. Sony have really outdone themselves this time as this game is an absolute treat.
