Playing Smash Bros 64, Mario Kart 64 and 007 with family in the late 90s are some of my earliest memories. I played Sonic, Spyro and Crash Bandicoot games in the early 2000's. I was 8 when Kingdom Hearts released and that changed everything. Pokemon games on GameBoy were treated as royalty because I wasn't allowed to own them until I got to high school. PS2 era 2001-06 some of my favorites I played were NBA Jam, Sly Cooper, Dangerous Hunts, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Tekken Tag Tournament and Yu-Gi-Oh Duelists of the Roses. The soundtracks for Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4, MX Unleashed, Burnout 3 Takedown and Guitar Hero shaped my sense of music. Once I was allowed to play Halo Combat Evolved and Halo 2 because it was alien blood, that was my first step into loving 1st person shooters. In the Xbox Live era 2006-2013 my favorites to play with friends were Halo 3, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 & 3, Bioshock 2, Left 4 Dead, Resident Evil 5, Dead Island, Borderlands, Grand Theft Auto 4 and Red Dead Redemption. I also played Assassin's Creed, Fallout 3, Saints Row, Mafia II, Oblivion, Skyrim, The Darkness, FEAR, Condemned and Grand Theft Auto V. I also owned a Wii during this time and played a ton of Super Mario Strikers and Super Smash Bros Brawl online. From 2014-18 I played a wide variety of games I didn't have time to play before on 360, PS3, N64, Gamecube and DS including the Gears of War, God of War, Mass Effect, Uncharted and Metroid Trilogies, along with Pokemon HeartGold and Alpha Sapphire.
