I'm amazed there's another human being that used Split Enz as a surefire method to weather tears-inducing Latin exams. Sparks also did the trick for me, though.

Nice call on all those lovely albums by The Damned. Good list on them too, by far the greatest punk band of all time - as I'm sure you'd agree.

I totally agree that 'Diamond Dogs' is Bowie's most underrated album and 'We Are the Dead' one of his very best songs. I prefer 'Mental Notes' to 'Second Thoughts' mainly because of 'Maybe' and the amazing version of 'Time For a Change' on the former. 'S T' is still amazing too. Psychedelic Furs; Associates; Velvets Third Album; The Bunnymen.... brilliant!
