Watchtower, Nasty Savage, Militia, Wyzard + all the international acts that made tour stops like like Maiden, Scorps, Motorhead, AC/DC, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, etc. and all their openers. San Antone, Texas circa 1982-84 was a Heavy Metal mecca.
Saw Metallica with Cliff a few weeks after Ride the Lightning was released in a small club. Somehow got up front for the entire gig. Insane sweat box. I passed out during "Seek and Destroy." I remember coming to after someone poured water on me. \m/
Glad you like the list! I hope to add a lot more. It's supposed to be to the point and humorous and points out the flaws in thinking of some of the ideals people have about mastering, I guess. You just have to compare different masters and which one sounds the best, something not a lot of people are doing, They either want flat masters and their own tone controls cranked up, don't care, or they like remasters unless they are really foul. It really depends to me on which one sounds the best. :)
