I'm the anti-RYMer. I have unpopular opinions, like what a lot don't, don't seek approval for my tastes, don't bitch out others for theirs.

I love AOR/Melodic Rock, West Coast Rock, Hair Metal, Smooth Soul, Pop, Pop Rap, Country and so on and so forth. I couldn't give a rats ass about Pitchfork and their flavor of the month critically acclaimed artists. Indie bores me, though I do enjoy some fun Indie Pop. Can't stand Indie Rock. Radiohead are boring to me. I'll take Kinks, Stones & Who over The Beatles anyday, Yes over Floyd, Purple & Lizzy over Zeppelin. People need to explore AOR more before having an opinion on it. There's more to it than Boston, Journey, Foreigner, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard's Hysteria, and The Final Countdown. Nirvana knocking Hair Metal out of the spotlight did it a favor as the revivalists kick the butts of what was big at the time. Kanye & Kendrick are cool shit. Listen to Afrobeat, Jazz, & Reggae less than I should, but dip my toes in and respect the hell out of them. Objectivity is bullshit. Subjectiveness is where it's at. I make up words and if they ever catch on, my genius deserves respect. We can all agree Bro-Country is the real evil, though.

I also like movies, car racing, wrestling, creepy stories, hiking, the outdoors in general, and long walks on the beach at sunset.
