The reason my ratings curve is resting a bit on the high side is because I make an effort not to listen to bad music. Also, these ratings are for albums as a whole, usually a 2 and up has at least a couple good songs, and even 1 and above probably has some listenable qualities or maybe a decent song or two. If its under that, well, somebody probably annoyed me.
