I fell out of the community a bit and It's hard to find a game I really want to put in the time and effort into required to get a good run. The game I initially ran "seriously" was Rocket Knight Adventures, which I have the fastest time for, except it was on emulator with less slowdown, so not legit... that deterred me from running it any more since I don't have an NTSC console. Improving the WADF run has been on my mind, but I'm a competitive player and I lose my motivation when nobody is competing. Another game I toyed around with recently was Ice Climber, I haven't found a non-TAS run of it, and it is a very tough run. My best was 29 minutes for all mountains, but it had game overs...

So you liked Vampire? I'm quite tempted to see it again as it had it's moments, but then again some elements (or rather characters) were way off the place for me. Idea was good though so just mayby...

Yeah the worst and best thing I can say about it is that it's just competently made. None of the personality of Spike Lee's other films and absolutely none of the visceral direction and haunting moral complexity of the original. The ending of the original is genuinely troubling, the ending of this is just "eh"

i've been speedrunning a long time now and it has held me back in a number of ways - there are other things i want to do in life. thanks for the praise though - i've enjoyed your runs a lot as well.
