It's Quality, NOT Quantity.
Send your recommendations (preferrably with audible streaming link) if you think you get me on a band that are/will be 'grand' in what they do... I'm open.
Thanks for the recommendation. Played through the tracks and I can certainly understand the comparisons to Echo & the Bunnymen. I'm hoping the get themselves some sort of deal because I don't do downloads (old fashioned I guess). I'll keep them on my wishlist and hopefully they can find themselves a label soon.
So for you record lovers and collectors out there, ALSO records (audio CDs) can be bought at mail-order cd baby (http://www.cdbaby.com/Artist/Also). The company gives a fairly high credit of the amount directly to the hands of the artist. ALSO have printed those CDs in full artwork by NYC-based illustrator Kim Rosen and have paid for them in advance, and they are surely limited! So if you feel for an original do not hesitate! (They come in a lovely digipack) The only reason I personally prefer bandcamp.com over every other digital shop is, that you can get high-quality audio files there (FLAC or ALAC- 3 x higher than best-quality mp3s) under "pick your format" and that the download is even cheaper than on iTunes, plus has two free downloads, and just like cdbaby goes 80-90 per cent directly to the artist. Cheers music lovers!
I have to agree with Ruiner123's review on the ALSO album, It seems like they still have a way to grow as a band. Some nice tunes but nothing that groundbreaking.
Thats just my stupid opinion though, and who knows maybe the record will grow on me. I'll keep an eye on them :)
