4.5 stars - Minor blemish, doesn't stop me from listening to the album though.

4 stars - Great. May skip a track or two when I listen to it.

3.5 stars - Some noticeable flaws but still good. I'll cherry pick the good tracks most of the time.

3 stars - Some standouts worth cherry picking or adding to a playlist, but the rest of the album is forgettable.

2.5 stars - Mediocre. Doesn't please or offend me.
