Compulsive when it comes to music. Eclecticism is the key word - while I tend to mainly listen/ collect Punk and Metal (i.e.: Punk as in since Proto-Punk to Grind Core and Metal since early Hard Rock to Death and Black), I listen to all genres of music, and appreciate different stuff for what it is. As such, if someone browses my collection it's likely to find Boston next to Bolt Thrower and Iron Maiden next to Iron Butterfly. Not to mention Reggae, Industrial, etc.

Now, about Cinema... I like movies. A lot... And I sure can distinguish "proper" film making from trash with no redeemable social value... Eh! Eh! But I looove bad movies - as in "no budget sleazy horror" not as in "zillion dollars blockbuster gone crap" - they're sublime, and in some alternative surrealistic universe, Jesús Franco IS GOD.

So as for film ratings, there are two readings that can be made, depending on the kind of movie we're talking about. For example, Citizen Kane and The Sadistic Baron Von Klaus [La mano de un hombre muerto] get the same rating, but it's a different appreciation, right? 'Cos everybody knows who's the best film maker...
