Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2011: Over the Nexus

I feel like this is THE yugioh handheld outside of releases on the phone now. Granted, the rules have constantly changed throughout the years along with the cardpool, but this just did everything so goddamn right for the time. Sad this was the last World Championship title in the series, as they really hit the nail on the head with this one. All of the rules are accurate, the AI isn't totally bullshit (although it is horrendously slow), lots of unlockables, and the online (at the time) was everything you could ask for. It's kinda hard to rate this as I spent most of the time online (and was where you got the most challenge), but the core game and card pool available was arguably the greatest era this game has had. A 2012/2013 release with Xyz's would have trumped this probably as that was the golden era for me, but this was pretty damn great in it's own right. I would give this a 3.5 if online was still a thing.
