To be real for a second, I never played Wario Land 4, so I don't really know how great it is, but Shake It! deserves at least a little bit of the praise that 4 gets. This game features beautiful hand drawn animations (Cutscenes look like they're fresh out of a studio quality anime, and gameplay looks amazing too), some of the finest music in Nintendo's catalog, and gameplay gimmicks that are actually fun for once? That's pretty impressive. For flaws, I really couldn't think of anything. The one thing that anyone else would probably complain about is the water levels since they're autoscrollers, but personally, they are just too chilled out for any sort of hate from me. This game overall is just a gift that only gives more and more.
Really though, did this game sell less than 4? Is that why it's so underrated in comparison? I dunno.

Seriously in the running for one of the most inoffensive platformers I've ever played. Everything about Wario Land: Shake It! feels familiar, even the motion control mechanics don't stop this from feeling like a very standard 2D platformer featuring Wario. That doesn't mean that it isn't technically a polished, fun experience, but despite having played the first few hours of this several times, I can remember very little about it.
