The cool 3D effect for the time is still a far cry to what would result in the brilliant Out Run, but in my opinion this game handles way more easilly and precisely than Namco's Pole Position(even though it's still slippery). Adding flavour to the game are the changing environments including snowy and tunnel landscapes(a philosophy borrowed from Sega's previous Monaco GP games), with the ringing of the ambulance driving. Every change of scenery brings with it a tough choke point to pass by, and indeed, for a lot of Turbo you will feel like the road is just way too narrow. Mastering the breaks is essential in order to dodge opposing vehicles.
This is just Monaco GP, only in a 3D perspective, and made a wee bit easier.
