yes this is the console shit tier babby version of rainbow six, but i dont care. its still really good, i dont care if its not as tactical or intense as the older games, this version of the franchise is great on its own. its still challenging, the loadouts are fun to swap between, playing COOP is really a good time, put it on a harder difficulty and play through the campaign, theres a lot of nice sights & sounds and some truely intense sections.
7.5/10

Its a decent tactical shooter, but i still dont get the appeal of Tom Clancy's games for the most part. The plot is often terrible, and since the game is striking for realism while still trying to be cinematic it ends up feeling like a bad 24 episode. I really dont get the sort of storytelling of modern military shooters. They try to be overly serious btu there is just no emotional connection at all with these characters.
The level design is nothing particularly well done and there is a lot of recycling of areas. The shooting and guns are good enough. They dont really have enough accuracy as a run and gun game, but the game is designed around cover shooting, and the gunplay is satisfying enough if you play by the game's rules.
The tactical commands work well enough, and its really satisfying ordering your teamates to clear a room. Unfortunatly they also like to get you stuck in walls. Then for some odd reason they make you go alone in one of the later chapters, which is really frustrating since the game clearly isnt build for that. Since the enemies can kill you with a well placed burst but have the teamates to lead the way, you are stuck behind cover that chapter.
Not a bad game, but far from great as well. Its definitly better than the first vegas, both in terms of control and level design.
I havent tried the multiplayer part of the game.
