One of the first games I've ever played along with Tomb Raider and Championship Manager 2 Italy. Time Commando is obviously a 1996 game but I feel like it's very advanced for it's time, even if it relies on a 2.5D game mechanics, which makes it a bit dated but helps making the graphics better than the games its age.
I can't tell if I'm being objective but I feel zero reviews means that it's probably very underrated and obscure. This game has a lot of content, where you time travel from pre-history to the future, and you get to play a wide range of different levels, each with its different enemies and weapons. From fighting sabre tooth lions to killing a computer AI, meanwhile you get to beat Japanese samurais, European gladiators and American western cowboys. It's a lot of fun and still impresses me a lot.
I hope this review motivates someone to play this piece of gaming history that seems to be forgotten. I won't lie, you'll have to adapt to a clunky gameplay, but that's how it was at the time. It's a big part of the feeling that you get when you finish it.
