This game is by far the best Puppet Combo game to date; I actually love it.
It's heavily inspired by Resident Evil, with all the charming elements like the door animations, tank controls, and camera angles. I particularly appreciate how Puppet Combo has improved their camera angles. In games like Minotaur or Babysitter Bloodbath, they were sometimes weird and confusing, but now they are well-placed and creative.
The lore of this game is crazy, and I do like the approach, though I feel like the lore was a bit overwhelming. At some points, I found myself reading more than playing, and eventually decided it was enough. Nonetheless, the story is cool and engaging. I love the atmosphere and the level design a lot.
However, there are some issues. Firstly, when playing as Dorothy (such a bad bitch), you can for some reason leave the house even though you shouldn't, and glitch out the whole game. I had to restart because of that. This brings me to my next critique point, which is the save system. The game rarely saves, and in the last part of the game, this is very frustrating because the fights against Dorothy or Pyramid Head 2 / Burning Pyramid Head 2 aren't hard, but one tiny mistake could kill you. Having to replay the entire day because of that is annoying.
Overall, I really enjoyed this game and appreciate how it feels like an indie Resident Evil with Silent Hill aspects. I'm a big fan of this.
