hacking the hackers
I found this one to be a really good game, at least when it comes to single player FPS campaigns. Its lacking on story and world building, and the campaign is a bit too short.

Visually the lightning bloom and information on screen can be too much, but otherwise the game is a looker and well optimized as well.

The gameplay is really what sets this one apart, and coming from Starbreeze studios its no surprise. The gunplay has a great feel, and you get the ability to interact with electronics, either turning enemy soldiers on themselves or use the environment. The final chapters where they are simply throwing waves of enemies at you are really the highpoint of the game, since the combat is really that good. I was pleasantly surprised with this one, as it seems most people call it mediocre.

Recommend for anyone looking for a high intensity fps experience.

    I bought the game because I wanted to play all the Starbreeze FPS games before they became Machine Games. I didnt think it would be this boring. Also, the bloom is comically intense. I guess they were going for a Minority Report look or something, but instead it just makes me need to take Advil after playing.

      Yeah, but the combat is still heaps about Cyberprank. Still a wasted potentional, especially when the campagin forgot that the franchise is about ghoulishly evil cyber secret police, which was dropped after the first levels.
