In all honesty, this is is just fake controversy to generate hype and a bigger demand. Literally no one thinks flaunting boobies and asses is an issue except Americans with questionable hair colors who don't play games anyway.
In Europe, sexuality is something to be celebrated. It's why women wear mini skirts and men wear skinny jeans. It's just body parts that look aesthetic. It's not objectification if there is appreciation.
You know who else thought sexy women or men are taboo? The 11th century Christian church.
Exactly, extremely regressive. Not to mention that all of this is just because she is a female character, when the character is male and is sexual these people do not complain at all (because that is what they like, which is fine if it wasnt for their attitude for the contrary, only is wrong and taboo when it is a female character). I fail to see what is problematic about characters being sexual, be them women and men.
