Title
Stella Glow is a game that is only for those who run out of other games to play. It's certainly not unpleasant (and i did sink a good amount of hours into it) but, if there are better alternatives, play them. It's a tactical RPG, similar to Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics, and that's a formula that can be easily done well.

The problem is everything outside of the gameplay. The voices are obnoxious and silly, the story relies pretty heavily on cheesy fan service, and none of the characters have any depth at all.

The gameplay, though, is still pretty slow. The reason that the Devil Survivor and aforementioned Fire Emblem games are the best in this genre is because they are quickly-paced. A lot happens in those battles, and yet they don't take an obscene amount of time. This can't be said about Stella Glow.

If you want a game like this, a turn-based tactical RPG from Atlus that you can sink an insane amount of time into, play the 3DS release of Devil Survivor 2. It's the best in this genre and is certainly better than this game.

    As much as I want to love this game, there's two things I just can't get over: the lack of option to change the movement of the cursor on the battle map (which seems to have been the case since the developers since the Luminous Arc series), and how slow the battles can be.
