The thing I always remember this game for is the bad walking / on-foot segments. The longer I have gone without playing this game the more they feel like a fever dream. I probably should think of this as one of the biggest disappointments of all time as compared to 64, but I feel like the failure of Star Fox Adventures already blunted the damage this could have done to my psyche at the time. When one stream of piss hits your face, it really doesn't feel much worse to have a second rain on down.

great game, its just too damn short. the mix of air and land is seriously fantastic and i think if the brought back more of 64s design it could have been one of the best. also the ending was too abrupt and anticlimactic given the more serious parts of the game earlier, it would have had more impact if they actually killed off peppy but nintendo and all that
