Title
About as good as an SSX reboot could be expected to be. The game looks better than ever, especially when the weather gets really violent, and some of the suit gimmicks are cool, but most are superfluous and distract from the raw snowboarding, which by this point has lost the outlandish level design of Tricky. Single player is overstuffed with challenges where you have to survive dumb environmental hazards, proving that the devs didn't really know how to make the game stand out in 2012.

    I spoke too soon those fucking pits of death that force you to go back to the beginning of the race, loading screens and all, are absolutely terrible. I'm playing SSX3 right now and the inability to instantly respawn in this game is a BIG dealbreaker. Plus, the rewind mechanic actively discourages the player from making mistakes by tying your combo multiplier to a negative point value????

    they clearly lost the plot with this game, from the aesthetics to the gameplay, theres no character and theres no love here, but what do you expect from EA.
