    Ps1 version seems pretty great, though i didn't get as invested in it as i hoped (i stoppd early on but i plan to go back to it)

    Also the encounter rate.... yeah it's not great, but this is the case for most classic jrpgs, so im kinda confused why it's always brought up for this game but not other jrpgs. I guess it's mostly people who came from the newer games which don't have random encounters

      Personally random encounters are just something you get used to overtime, so it probably shouldn't bother me when i go back to this

    @gayvyn It probably helps that jrpgs with modern ports have abilties to reduce them, it probably also helps that *some* other old school jrpgs don't have dreadful combat like this one
