    In the best year for p&c games in over a decade, it's bittersweet to see that the only "sacred calf" franchise among them is struggling to maintain buzz or even integrity. I always thought streamlining this style of game to get some 'member moments felt especially misguided. Like the new LSLs, the best thing it has going for it is being "a new X game in 20XX". It's hard to celebrate something that exists almost completely in service to itself.

    Shoutout to Norco, Golden Idol, Pentiment, Who's Lila, Citizen Sleeper, Syberia, and whatever Wadjet Eye have for us this year (probably not all comparable, but its a shoutout).

    The artstyle did bother me initially, but I got used to it after a while. It's a nice game and it's a shame the people that made it got so much hate
