I think the most optimal way to experience this game is to get the password code that allows you to play all the levels then go to any of them and play the light plane mode while ignoring the mission objective. It controls fine enough for a flight sim but I didn't like completing actual missions with it especially as the missions get harder to the point where you can't get enough points to get past it. I also thought that the helicopter levels where you rescue your past instructors from the evil syndicate is just... stupid? I hated the tonal shift esp. considering how more relaxed and sometimes goofy the rest of the game is. Overall, wasn't fun for me but maybe I'm just not into realistic flight sims as a game genre.
