Pilgrims is a stripped-down point-and-click adventure, designed for mobile, and full of charm. You move between scenes via the map. In each scene there's usually a character and one object. If you can pick up the object, you simply click which adds it to your inventory. The inventory is represented in a card which you can drag onto the scene. Your characters are also represented as cards.
You start with one character and his overall aim is to acquire a bird to give to a woman who owns a boat that will take him down the river. You can get 3 characters to join you, then help them with their own goal. After you complete their task, they leave you, and the bird you seek appears (but will fly off if you haven't completed all 3 tasks). That aspect doesn't really make sense - it's a bit disjointed from the overall objective.
After you drag a character into the scene, you can drag items in and some kind of animation plays out. The character’s speech sounds like gobbledegook, although I have seen some user reviews say it is Czech. Regardless, the primary method of communication is intended to be via speech bubbles with symbols/basic pictures. Some objectives seem obscure but you can generally work out what you need to do given the character traits which are shown on the card. You could solve some puzzles with trial and error, although you might intentionally try things just to see what animation occurs.
There's optional or alternative solutions to discover. The "Achievement" list shows clues to what these are. The game will only take around 1 hour, but it is a budget title and can be replayed to find the optional objectives. It could be a good game to get younger gamers into point-and-click adventures, and can be played regardless of language.

[PL] Amanita po prostu nie zawodzi! A ostatnimi tytułami (także "Creaks") uzmysławia, jak bardzo można zmieniać mechanikę 'wskaż i kliknij', nie naruszając przygodówkowego rdzenia.

Really nice. A pity it's so short. I think it took me just 40 minutes to play through it. I guess it has alternative routes, but I really wish it had another act or two.
