One of the very few JRPG's that left me wanting more, absolutely no filler in this, but there is a surprising amount of hidden content if you choose to take the time to explore. So much care was put into this game
This game has floated around in my top 10 for years now but replaying it makes me think it's a top 3. Impeccable and masterful in every sense of the word, never once overstays it's welcome.
There’s this certain ethereal weightlessness that permeates the entire act. Very unwavering in its string of tonal space and little fluff, with this arcade-esque battle system that sets stake in position. Diametrically opposed to the idea that the CD should mean “more”. It’s a shame how little we learned from it.
