One of the water monsters in this game straight up looks like bootleg Dwebble. I know that’s easy to throw around but they didn’t even try disguising it
Doesn’t seem like a bad game, but stuff like that and the boring evolutions highlights how these monster collectors have really inexperienced character designers, and how the designs don’t actually capture wonder like Pokemon. I really want to see a new one that’s actually different while keeping collection as the primary focus, or that actually understands what makes mon designs so widely appealing.
