    worst rank jump ever from high to master in this game the grind just to survive is unreal compared to every other similar monster hunter

    Styles were fun, but trivialized the monsters that weren't designed with them in mind (most of them). Hypers were an awful bandaid on that front.

    Manages to be a terrific Greatest Hits for the franchise while bringing in plenty of new ideas of its own, and it also deftly avoids the risk of rendering older titles obsolete, since it includes minimal subspecies and there are plenty of maps and unique challenges that it leaves out. Just a staggering amount of content, too, especially when you experiment with different style/weapon/hunter art loadouts.
