I remember this series used to be somewhat big around the mid 2000s, before Call of Duty really took off this was the go to war shooter for everyone. I remember my neighbor had this game and I played it a bit, then eventually we ended up getting the trilogy for PS2, and well I thought this was decent at the time. It had some memorable moments, it was cool going through D-Day, the characters were pretty likable, and the story wasn't bad. But looking back this just hasn't aged well, the controls are clunky, some of the design is awkward, and the graphics are just ugly. There are some interesting moments in this, but at this point there are many better FPS games that came before and after this and considering Half Life 2 only came out 2 years after this, Frontline became obsolete pretty fast, but hey its still better than pretty much every Call of Duty game that came after Modern Warfare 2.
