Title
I honestly like this game a lot. I'll be the first to admit that its not your proper Mario Party game by any means, considering the multiplayer mode is weird and might as well not exist. What you are left with, though, is a fun and charming singleplayer campaign where you explore a board filled with characters, events, and quests to complete. It's lots of character and, at least to me, pretty fun gameplay, even if the game is a little short. I get why people don't like it, but it's very nice for what it is.

I am convinced that Hudson really tried to make a legitimate mario party on the GBA, but due to hardware limitations, they could not, so for some reason, they made a totally janky single-player turn-based adventure quest game with shoe-horned minigames. The "Gaddgets" you unlock are shameless rip-off's influenced from Wario Ware unlockables that are completely devoid of enjoyment and purpose. The only enjoyment I got from this was from shitting on the game with a buddy I was playing with.
