Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time

the story blew my mind as a kid

especially that part when the professor gets the idea to pump water into the past to extinguish the volcano

easily the best in the M&L series

I love the shroobs

Normally video game sequels tend to fix problems with the first entry, but in my eyes this game is a rare exception in that it exacerbated every problem with the first game.

This definitely released too early in the DS' life. With the marketing and presentation that Bowser's Inside Story had, it's no surprise to see this get absolutely outshadowed by it. Seeing how slept on it is gave me the impression that it just wasn't as good as the other games going into this, but it's actually a great game on its own.

i really want to give this more than an 8, but i feel as though this game just slogs and realllllly overdoes it with 4 characters. Rounding it out to 3 was a good choise with Inside Story, but this is still nice! the Shroobs should come back at some point...

Sadly a step down from Saga, but still a fun game.
