I'm not feeling this one so far. side stuff is important to me, and it's all rehashed and not that fun. storywise it's too soon to tell, I guess. maybe I've outgrown this stuff

Not the series best, but has its moments. Way better than it has any right to be though for originally being DLC. Great ending tho.

chapter 3 substory spoiler: wasn't ever expecting to see characters from Judgment show up in the main series. thought they were always gonna be separate apart from minor references here or there.

this is probably the most concentrated and most focused yakuza game (not saying much since its a 20 hour game compared to the usual 50+ hour games) but it pays off in dividends as the story's pacing, characters that i feel can be super likeable despite the short run time, and kiryu's dynamic between his yearning for the past and his self in the present with the daidoji, along with the expansion on the idea of the end of the yakuza from Y7 that is reflected in the final boss - magnificent

it also gave us one of the most random music crossovers being JID featured in a yakuza game which is something i would've never expected at all in my life - why isnt the song on spotify or compiled as part of the soundtrack though? seems odd and annoying to me
