Yeah, that just about covers it. This game has all the depth and atmosphere of classic Silent Hill and Resident Evil games, which you wouldn't expect, given that it's a 2D isometric pixel art game, but the creators did a masterful job adapting the genre to their chosen medium. The artwork is fantastic, especially the diverse and grotesque creature designs. And the judicious use of limited lighting effects lends a convincing aura of dread where it's needed. There's also a myriad of branching paths, multiple endings, and hidden secrets that encourage exploration, as one would expect from any good survival horror game. The one place where the medium really constrains the experience is in combat, which becomes annoyingly repetitive in places. But given that this isn't really a combat-intensive game, it's a forgivable sin.
