I loved this game as a teenager, I remember seeing it at our local movie rental store and asked my dad to rent it. It had to have been around the time Jurassic Park 3 came out, and I remember being obsessed with dinosaurs during that time. This is essentially Roller Coaster/Zoo Tycoon but with dinosaurs. You essentially build your own park and create enclosures for dinosaurs. You can create different attractions and there are around a dozen different species of dinosaurs. As you progress, you get more money which unlocks different dinosaur species, better materials, and more tourists come to visit. As long as you keep the dinosaurs fed and make sure the fences are secured and have enough rest areas and paths for the tourists, you eventually get 5 stars and your park is a complete success. Of course if you want to be an asshole you can let the dinosaurs into the same area as the tourists and watch as the dinosaurs eat everyone, you can also have different dinosaurs in cages with each other and starve them until they fight each other to the death. Its a fun game to just mess around in an experiment with different things. On the other hand the game does get repetitive and has little variety, there really aren't a whole lot of different species, the only way to be successful in the game is play safe so the game doesn't really encourage you to take risks, and once you get a 5 star park the game really loses all value. It still brings back nostalgia and is fun to play around in, and hopefully Jurassic World Evolution improves on this.
