Pros +All the weapons are condensed down to two guns that switch between firing modes, and each firing mode for both guns has an alternative fire. Though this can sometimes feel convoluted in the midst of combat, it is a unique system that lets you decide how to approach each fight without saying "Well, I don't have rockets, so I can't use my rocket launcher, even though I want to." +An upgrade system for said weapons that revolves around getting points both by killing enemies and finding them stashed around levels. You can choose what weapon modes you want to unlock and how to make them more effective, though even if you find a lot of the points, you can't unlock everything and will probably complete the game without even getting to use all the weapons. +Old school gameplay down to the health and ammo boxes and abundant secret rooms. Even a score system at the end of each level. +I like the aesthetic and futuristic atmosphere of the game, even if the environments are fairly recycled.
Cons -Though its length is appropriate to its price, the game is pretty short. The story is entirely told through storyboard cutscenes and it isn't very compelling. On top of that, the story ends so abruptly that I'm fairly certain they just ran out of time and left it where it was. -Only a handful of enemy types, and some of them are just slight variations of another enemy, boiling down to about 3 real enemy types throughout the entire game. -Though the gun system is fun, limited unlocks along with the fast pace style of combat requiring quick decisions, means you will probably only use about 3-4 weapons throughout the game. -A lot of searching around for buttons to switch and doors to open. Also, if your game needs both a hint system and an arrow constantly pointing in the direction you should go, it probably isn't great level design. In Summary It is an indie game, so don't go in expecting a triple A shooter, but the graphics and presentation are both top notch and the fairly mindless gameplay still has some levels of strategy, revolving around choosing the right weapons for each enemy type, as few as they may be. If you just want an old school throwback to run and gun games that don't care about taking cover, then this will probably be a few hours well spent.

Its always nice to see an indie dev attempting to make a fps that could pass for big budget in 2006. It borrows its style heavily from unreal tournment, meaning that your movement speed is fast, and you will be spending a lot of time dodging enemy missiles. Your arsenal is decent, but bear in mind that you have to unlock the weapons through the game currency (meaning that you probably wont have access to all of the weapons by the end of the game).
The enemies are all forms of robots, and i could count no more than 6 types of enemies in the games, and none of them are all that fun to fight. The game has a tendency to throw huge mobs of enemies at you, so its challenging but the difficulty is a bit artificial.
Visually the game is ugly as hell, not only from a technical perspective, but also from an aesthetic/artistic. Its just a whole lot of greys and very little inspiration. The story is completly forgettable and unconsequential. The level design is decent i guess. You will be spending a whole lot of time pressing green buttons to open doors, but they also placed some secrets in the levels which is a nice touch.
Yea i didnt like this one all that much. If i could sum it up with one word it would be mediocre. It was a nice effort for this studio, but they would sharpen up their fps craftmanship a lot in their following title.
