Quite a fun, overlooked shmup that has some awesome setpiece moments, a wonderful aesthetic, and a great soundtrack. I have some minor criticisms but the biggest is that recovering from a death is basically impossible in some areas -- you more or less have to no-miss your way to the final boss in order to have a fair fight that doesn't involve bomb-spamming. Fortunately it's not overly difficult to do this, but it can be frustrating when grinding runs to die in a later stage because it's typically game over at that point, regardless of how many lives you have left.
