to be fair, i think rating old arcade games is a really hard job. it goes without saying that most have aged badly and don't really offer much in the present, but they were also influential and inspired so many later titles that would expand upon the initial simple concept.
the important thing is, who honestly wants to play frogger for longer than a minute? it was an important historical feat in game development - no doubt - but rating games is just one of those things where you have to also take into account its content.
only a few arcade games, like tetris, are still attractive games in the present. but games like frogger, asteroids, and even pac-man are just meh titles in this day and age. they shouldn't be forgotten, but it's nostalgia-ridden thinking to say this is an addictive or fun game in today's world.

no offence to the arcade enthusiasts.
