hard agree. a great game engine brought down by an overly restrictive career mode. hope they fix it in fm8

homolgation system is way too restrictive yeah, but otherwise a very solid and enjoyable racing game with good mechanics and car choices. as a consequence of being an american racing game, i got a bit sick of the generic blues rock (coming from someone who grew up with the jazz fusion of the gran turismo games)
