Title
You're a soldier named Super Joe and you need to go out and kill nazis/commies/Iraqi or something like that. There's even a miniature Fidel Castro you can shoot for bonus points!

You run from the bottom of the level to the top in a sidescrolling view having only infinite submachine gun ammo and few grenades in the midst of true bullet hell: The levels(four) are nice and varied with some pretty deadly cyclists and rocket launchers blocking your path near the end, with some cool hideouts for soldiers such as tunnels, trenches, towers and similar. An important distinction to Commando, which makes it much easier and palpable to players, is that you can utilise barricades and covers to your advantage! With all that, the game puts out enough content for a relatively short experience.

Some of the best video game music ever, at least in the C64 version.

yeah that singular track likely kicks ass of virtually almost anything composed for video games in the 80s
