When I visited my friends after the first Summer after I graduated college, which feels like ages ago, damn this makes me realize how old I'm getting, this game was on her brothers PS3, and she said it was a fun multiplayer game, so we tried it out, and we all had a blast. Its a basic 2D platformer where you try to dodge obstacles to reach the exit, each few levels has a gimmick like for 10 levels you'll be on a pogo stick, you'll be in a mincart, you'll shrink and then grow large, you'll have a jetpack. This is actually kind of a cool idea, and it keeps the game from getting stale, and the game does get pretty repetitive because it reuses the same obstacles and the music keeps cycling back. My main issue is the enjoyability of this game goes down a lot when you don't have friends to play with and once you beat the main story, the game goes on for like 80 more levels which could be considered bonus levels and are some of the hardest levels in the game, and these levels are so frustrating and cheap, that you'll have to use the path placer and slow motion for almost every level to see how to get through the level without dying. I only got to around level 255, and I've seen some of the later levels and they just look damn near impossible with 100 obstacles randomly placed. This is the definition of artificial difficulty and just makes the game more frustrating then fun. But with friends this is a blast to play, and its cool you can customize your character and the cool gimmicks add variety, but at best its a party game to break out after you've had enough Smash Bros. and Mario Party.
