This can be a very fun game if you allow it to be, and also the original Apple II version is way more merciful than the more popular arcade port. The Apple II version has a huge degree of slightly-less-inert control over your chopper and you can more systematically destroy enemy tanks and flying airships. Fly to the ground to collect hostages and bring them back to base. (3.0)
Sega's alluring arcade port is very much the same. It's well converted but a little sped up, and relentless in the enemies it sends after you. Be prepared for toughness. (2.0)
Meanwhile the SG-1000 takes its cues more from the Apple II version than the arcade release surprisingly, so much so that it utilises completely identical graphical assets. And somehow it's even tougher than the arcade. (2.0)
