Sometime in the 1800's, the Belmont clan disappeared, and along with them, the Holy Whip. With them absent, humanity tirelessly searched for a way to keep Dracula at bay. An organization, Ecclesia, was created for this purpose. When a woman of the organization, Shanoa, loses her memory, she must hunt down Albus, a traitor of Ecclesia, and obtain the power of Dominus to keep the Dark Lord sealed away.

Title
An underrated, forgotten gem.
This is the best "Igavania" title that was ever published by Konami, bar none. Yes, even better than the legendary Symphony of the Night.

    Finally getting around to this. At first, it seemed a bit off brand, but I'm on my way to the good ending, and wow, this is kind of fantastic. Easily the best of the DS games if it keeps it up.

    Amazing game, but still probably the worst of the DS trilogy. Feels like this one pushes you to use the same weapons at the same points in every playthrough due to the heavy resistances. I get really tired of constantly using Vol Macir in the early/midgame. I guess I just prefer the player freedom that the easier games allow for
