I love the wacky new characters you play as, but wish they did more to mix up the gameplay. I didn't mind the first game's straight-up classicvania homage considering it was a Kickstarter stretch goal, but wish they would've at least tried giving this one a 16-bit look or something.

Insanely punishing to the point of obnoxiousness, due to the bosses in the second playthrough. Dropped it at the fire boss there, utterly unintuitive attack dodging patterns, and if you lose the first character you might as well just restart. The sniper guy is especially awful.
