Title
It is playable
For long, Avatar fans want a good avatar game. This is not the one.
Despite the ps2 graphics, horrid hitboxes, brain-rottenly easy puzzles, lazy cutscenes, cringy and bad voice acting, combat so bad and repetitive devoid of skill where there is a pretty good chance that you'll fall sleep ( I did, still won the enconter ), close-to-none caracter progression, by far the worse was the wasted potential of decent game.

You can feel the shell of something good and fun, the idea of doing a retelling of the show's story is great and even the core gameplay ideas are good. Basically a linear action game, with genshin impact styled combat and using the elements to interact with the environment to get a chest or progress the story. Also during the gameplay you'll have challenges, that are copypast from recent Zelda games ( NOT nearly close to be as in-dept as those games, but similar in a way. Like graphite and diamond; made of the same stuff but completely different ).
Going a bit more in-dept in the combat, basically you'll have a basic attack, 1 skill ( normally is just damage, cooldown based ), 1 skill combo and 1 trap move. Other characters, the melee ones, have other stuff but the hitboxes are so atrocious that you can't really use them to their potential... I say this because the enemies will knock you down, and can keep you in a stun lock if you aren't careful and keep your distance.

As caracter progression goes is bad. You don't feel more powerful and most upgrades are boring number chances or stuff that you just don't really feel or see.
You have 2 way of becoming stronger, paisho tiles and scrolls. The paisho tiles are a currency that you expend to unlock passives in a talent tree. Scrolls, also unlock passives (mostly) and you obtain them either by buying from shops or they are just given to you as you progress the story.
This is just bland, during my playthroughs ( I had to make 3 to get the platinum because there is a platinum-breaking oversight in the game ) I never felt stronger or wanted to have a specific talent.

Despite being Avatar the story is bad... somehow they decided to highlight the worst and dead story beats and skip over the important stuff. Literally the ending is just 1 cutscene... ( this game's cutscene are BD like spreads with minor animation ).

To summarise, this game barely works, everything is clunky, lazy and not fun. But it is playable.
