Aura-Aura Climber

In this game, you play as Aura-Aura, a fallen star that needs to climb back up to space. You move between grapple points, pressing the A button to jump, then pressing it again to grapple.

It's a budget title, original released as DsiWare, so is simple, short but sweet.
There are 10 stages, and the difficulty ramps up quick. The game pops up an info box for the first time you encounter something new. There's plenty of ideas introduced through the stages, from moving points, propelling, ones that you have to grapple in sequence.

It's instant death if you fall to the bottom, or hit the purple lazers. Other dangers take one health point off you, and you have 3 points in total. You can collect a Heart to recover a point of health. There's another pick-up; a bomb. This wipes out enemies and gives you a boost.

You are awarded a score based on distance, time, items collected and more. This gives you an incentive to replay the levels. There's a few other modes such as Endless mode or Marathon mode.
