looking at the trailer, I thought the combat would have been more in line with the older games but it seems they have kept the rpg levelled attack sponge style from origins+.
at least it seems that stealth attacks are garanteed one hit kills, from what i can tell. But there are also lame multikill superpowers that really break immersion in a game that is trying to be realistic
Actually looking at the reviews, combat seems back to basic parry and kill which is good imo. It seems combat is more of a fail state rather than something to seek out.
I'm not an AC diehard by any means, in fact I find the series frustratingly disappointing most of the time, but the take that it's "trying to be realistic" when the entire series is about superhuman gods who can see through walls making 500ft drops into hay bails is pretty ridiculous lol
Valhalla and Odyssey was a miles times better than this basic DLC. Even Origins was. And what did people enjoy here? Its a stripped down version of Origins with the worst Assassin's Creed storyline yet. 10 years since Unity was released and it still has the best movement in any Assassin's Creed game. Hilarious.
