Not bad if viewed as a New Leaf addon. Gives you an excuse to play around with different home aesthetics without the tedium of ordering and placing down furniture from your small inventory. Can be fun to imagine what styles would suit a given villager's taste and personality.

decorating my house n collecting all the furniture was always my fav part of the animal crossing games, so this is a very very welcome spinoff

I remember when i was given the choice between buying this and new leaf. I stupidly chose this. I did get new leaf a few years back though

i love this game because i've always been more interested in the villagers than the npcs. i dunno i like games where you can just have a bunch of little guys in it. and it's fun to see villagers having jobs and shit, the dialog is awesome
